Cloudy water?????

Up until today my water has been CRYSTAL CLEAR. I just changed my sump out for a bigger one. Can this dispurtion be the cause of my cloudy water? How many cloudy days before I need to worry?

It might be. Are you using carbon?

Trn off your wavemaker and let the sand that was kicked up settle out if that is the case.

No carbon being used never used it. And it doesn't look like sand looks lot a lot of miro bubbles and like white cloudy water.

Does your sump have bubbles? Yes, throw on a micro sock on your drain. Carbon does alot for a tank.

I don't believe it is the change in size of the sump, but the configueration. With my old setup I never had a need for socks. the configueration of my new sump is totaly different without socks my sump would look like a bottle of seltzer all shook up.lol
try to post a pic of your sump, and the tank.
