Hi All,
I get a decent amount of salt creep accumulation. I usually just wipe it off occasionally and throw away. Sometimes it's in a place where there's a good chance it will fall into the tank when I clean it (and it does!). Is this a big problem. My fish think it's food and go after it, but then leave it alone for the most part. I'm sure it eventually dissolves back from whence it came, but is it OK for that to happen?

IF it is "OK", is it "good"? Meaning should I TRY to knock it back into the tank?

Thanks!
Brian

It's OK but not really good, just slightly on the bad side of neutral :D Make sure it doesn't land on any sessile animals.

I think I read somewhere (Fenner's or Paletta's beginner's books) to put it back. I always do so, but in the overflow so it's not bothering anybody.
