Jebo Odyssea 20" Not Working

Hey,

I am new to this forum, so please be gentle.

I just bought a 20' Jebo Halide from eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... %3AIT&rd=1).

Well I was pretty excited, however, The halides and actinics are not working at all, just the moonlights. The fans on the fixture and the ballast are not working. I am guessing that the ballast is bad, but the actinics have a separate ballast, and the halide ballast has a connection for the moonlights (which are working).

I have contacted the seller and am waiting to hear from him.

Nope. It just didn't work. Is there anyway I can test for sure?

Just asking. Did you plug in all three plugs? First thing I would do is to reinstall the bulbs. The connections may not be good. If that does not work I would take it to the LFS you trust and try some of thier bulbs.

if worst comes to worst... contact hellolights.com... I believe they used to sell these units. they could possibly help you. tell them you saw the sponsor banner and needed some help....

did they give you warranty info and such?

I Opened up the ballast and saw that the fuse was burnt out. Put in a new one and the halide worked. I also took out all the lights and put them back in to make sure the connections were fine, and one of the actinic's worked as well.

I'll get to work on the other actinic tomorrow, BTW, the tank looks incredible under those halides.

I Have read many posts saying that Jebo bulbs are terrible, but I am happy to say that overall, I did save a lot of money .
