Skimmate

Hi all,

I have just installed a Coralife 65 skimmer on my 29 gal. 2 wk old cycling tank.
About how much skimmate should I see?
Should there be much considering no livestock?
Whats is the best way to calibrate the skimmer, the air valve or pump?

When I first starting using my css65 skimmate was very light for the first few weeks during breakin. I have noticed on mine, the amount of skimmate depends on how much i feed my tank ( I notice more when I feed frozen cubes an phyto). With my current bioload, I only get 1/3 cup every three days of thick dark skimmate.
