I came home from school today and noticed a bunch, 1000s, of tiny little white creatures running around on my glass. They are very small less than a millimeter in total length and there bodies seem to be made up of two segments with two antennas. Does anyone know what these could be? Do I need to do anything about them?

My tank is only about a month old. It is my first attempt at a saltwater aquarium. IT is a jbj 24g deluxe nano cube, I removed the ceramic rings and bioballs.
It has the protein skimmer and I added the bioflo attachment to increase circulation.

Specific gravity is 1.0215
nitrates about 20 ppm
nitrites 0 ppm maybe a little above
Akalinity 240 ppm
PH about 8.2
Temperature just below 78 degrees

\
19# live rock on about 5 cm of aragonite
3 red hermits
3 blue hermits
3 cerith snails
2 nassarius snails
2 astrea snails
1 Mexican Turbo snail
1 cleaner shrimp
1 sally lightfoot
and a few mushrooms

Thanks

Look for a picture of a "Harpacticoid Copepod". See if I'm close. If not tell me details of where I'm wrong.

For safety and piece of mind you need to tear down your tank and box up all of the pieces in large boxes and mail them to me. 8)

They make excellent supplemental food for most of the critters in your tank.
