Hello- I've been using the JBJ inside the tank digital temp thing (oval shaped with suction cup) And deceided I didn't want to look at it anymore so I bought the lifegard little time-temp and put it in. Whoa the life gard says my tank is at 82.5! With the JBJ it said 79.5 why the difference? And now of course which one is right? So I deceided to buy an accurate 0-220 degree glass thermometer($20.00) ouch! to test and see which one is right Anyone have simular experiences?

The type of digital thermometer we use in the hobby is notoriously inaccurate. Your experience is not unique. That 0.1F resolution on the display mislead people to feel good about the gadge.
