DIY SUMP/need to trim glass

Hello All

I am new to the reef side of saltwater. I am currently working on a 90g drilled with a 20g(DIY) sump. I had the glass cut, but it is about an 1/8 inch or less to wide. Any suggestions on a way to trim this is welcome. Also any suggestions in general to the hobby is also welcome.

Cutting 1/8 of an inch off a piece of glass is next to impossible to do cleanly.

score and chip it away.

you could grind it all away, but that would take forever.

That is a shame
