Fin rot?

Yesteday I bought a six line wrasse. He is very active and has been eating just fine since I bought him. Today I noticed his tail and one of his fins is starting to frey a bit and appear a little cloudy around the edges. I have read that these fish often do not transport very well and take some time to acclimate. I figure that this could be caused by the added stress of moving him around the last few days. Is this something that may clear up on its own or is there something I need to do about it?

Any other fish in your system? Is it possible he's been harrssed by other fish?

No other fish, he is the first. I do have a sally lightfoot that tends to be aggressive to newcomers.

Probably not the sally lightfoot crab. I'm not an expert on fish diseases; it could be some kind of infection but I can't really help in ID, assuming that's the case.

If someone can't give you more info on what this might be, then I'd just take the "wait and see" approach.

I'm a noob as well, but, one of my past fish did have fin rot and it looked like that. His tail fins were pretty much falling off and looked awful. He survived with me doing nothing really though. He never looked great afterwards, but he lived a few more years.
