Here is my plan correct me if its not good.

Every 1-2 weeks I plan to vaccum my bed to get rid of detrius and such..
This will eliminate water in the tank ovibiously and thus I need to replace it so I do can do a water change at the same time...

However I dont want to mix a 5 gal bucket of water day before and let it sit and hope its enough.. I would like to be able to have a RO system to automaticly put water into a holding tank and have some sort of device put salt to the correct S.G. and have it on standby for whenever I need it. Then when I am done cleaning I can turn on a pump and move the water from the holding tank to the reg tank.

Opinions?

I would not rely on an automatic system for water changes. Have salt wateron hand in a holding tank is no big deal as long as you keep it agitated.

I pre-mix my new sw in a 55g. trash can. I keep a power head running all the time. Then when I do my water changes, I just move whatever amount I took out.

You could always run a syphon into an empty bucket with a filter sock on the end. Replace with whatever water amount you have on hand and if you don't have enough, just use the "filtered water" that's in your bucket.
