Odyssea ps75 Protein Skimmer sould I buy it.

Hi everyone I have a 55 G Tank with various Snapper Fish and a Sersi Grouper in it and two golden Jacks in it.I have two 60 G whisper filters on my Tank which is charcoal filters I known I need a Protein Skimmer on it.I priced this Odyssea ps75 Protein Skimmer at $80.00 which seemed reasonable to me.Can someone give me advice on this brand please.I dont want to buy a cheap piece of Garbage but Im considering price right now.Is this brand reliable or should I keep looking and spend a little more money Thanx Snapper1

If you're asking for opinions.

I've never used the skimmer you're talking about, but as a general rule Odyssea is usually a decent brand that may or may not work for you in 6 mos. Their stuff is normally no frill. IMO its a bit of a gamble to skimp on your skimmer. I would bite it... spend a lil more and pick up a good proven skimmer. If you're gonna skimp on somthin' dont let it be your skimming!

I don't own one (and I doubt I ever will) but my LFS sells these. From what I have seen, I am less then impressed. I think spending twice as much for something like the PM-HOT1 is money better spent.

I would go for a skimmer that has a proven track record. I have never heard of the one you are looking at.
