I have a cute little oceleris and I would like to learn some more about him. I'm assuming it's a him since I read that they are all males until you get a couple and the dominant one becomes a female. I found that quite interesting! They never talked about that in Finding Nemo!
But what I have been trying to figure out is how old my little buddy was when I got him. He only had two stripes. Recently a white patch formed and began to grow into a third stripe at the base of his tail. Is there anyone around that can tell me where this places squiggy on the maturity level of a clownfish? What is his expected life span assuming I take very good care of him?
PS: His name is Squiggy because I have a blennie named Lenny and I though Squiggy would be appropriate  I may be giving away my age there
