C ChrisRD Advanced Reefer Location Upstate NY Rating - 0% 0 0 0 Mar 5, 2006 #2 I can't tell from that pic if it's cyano, coralline, etc. but it's not unusual to see various algaes/discolorations like this on the part of the sandbed that is visible through the glass (ie. it's being exposed to light).
