Water for the Q-tank

Could I have your expert advices on the source of water to fill the Q-tank from the beginning? (a) From the Display Tank OR (b) freshly mixed water.

Either way works (provided the display tank is disease free of course! :wink: ).
Just make sure the filtration in the Q-tank is full cycled so you don't get an ammonia spike when adding the new livestock.

Using water from the display is a good excuse to do a water change to the main system.
