I am starting a 150g with dual overflows and I'm trying to decide on the return pump. I'd like to have the sequence 750 (max 3600gph). I plan to have 4-6 returns total and I imagine some flow will be lost with all the turns of the return pipes. The overflows are rated for a return of 1200gph total. This seems a little low. Will the Sequence be too much for the returns? The pump will be about 4 feet below the top of the tank.
Thanks.

Depending on the pipe size and configuration of your return plumbing the overall flow will vary a lot with the 750 series (not pressure rated).

For example, if you use 1" pipe for your return plumbing you might be right around your max of 1200 GPH with all the losses. If you go with 1.5" pipe you'll probably be well over that. You can always valve it back but it might make more sense to go with a smaller return pump since you're limited by the overflows anyway.

Considering you will need some other form of in-tank circulation, the Sequence would probably serve you better as a closed-loop pump.

3600 GPH is a boat load of flow to put though your sump. You'd better have 2 - 2" drains or larger to handle that much flow.
