is coral beauty reef safe?

Just have a coral beauty in my Q-tank since FEB 7th. Only have a Star Polyp & a striped Mushroom in my 100 g. If he/she is NOT reef safe I'll place him in my smaller tank where there is lonely a purple tang. But I'm scared the purple will not accept him/her. Could I have you guys' expert advices plase? Only in hobby for a year.

I've heard of CBs nipping clams and LPS. It's something like a 50/50 thing, some do some don't. Your Star Polyps and Mushrooms are perfectly safe though.

guy's right. i think angels are a little to agressive for me, but, they are very pretty. they have been known to nip at some corals and hurass some smaller clams, he should be fine just watch him. GL

its really a craps shot. It may or maybe be reef safe.

I've had 3 over the years that never caused any trouble other than the occasional and quite lethal urge to see "what's on the other side".
