okay now my anemone is spitting its food back out. Feeding it krill and shrimp. Is this normal cause how can he be getting nutrition if its not staying in? I also notice it doesnt sting and doesnt feel "sticky" which most of my research said they did. Is this a sign it is sick?

Im just a newb so I dont know much. Is it spitting it out or simply letting it go? My condy didnt or doesnt take food really at all. Only once in the two months that I've had it. It does however expell waste almost weekly though. I figure It either gets fed by its clown or pick up enough pods etc throughout the day to maintain its health. When I brought it home it was pure white with green tips and has been coloring up since. This is how I know its healthy. After that I dont worry. Hope that helps a little.

no he is actually spitting out. He grabs and takes in fine then minute or two late he spits it out. Waiting to see. His color has always been the same. From pics I have seen he is a pink haitian condy. Color appears fine. You said it excretes waste, is that the white stuff that is now coming from the mouth? Its stringy white.

When mine excretes waste it is stringy brown stuff. But yes, thats the stuff. The only time it ate was when I fed it fresh shrimp. If it isnt losing color and is extended. I wouldnt worry too much for now.
