pulsating Xenia on glass

My pulsating Xenia is growing like bad and now is all over the back of my glass I dont mind it now but if it was to grow on the front of my glass I like to know how to take it off

If it is an all glass front then use a single edge razor blade. If its acrylic I have no idea..maybe a credit card?

Its glass I will give it a try looks like they are going to take over the tank I just dont know if I cut them off the glass what to I do with them I dont have the room being its only a 30gal to move them to another spot

Give/sell them to your local fish store for credit or toss em in the trash.

I have heard for zenia being used as a nutrient export, just like algae in a refugium.

If they do hit the trash, just think of it as harvesting nutrient!

Do not cut them off the glass. Scrape them off. Whatever you leave will regrow. Xenia will not have much resale value. IF you need to trash them make sure you flush them. If you put them in the trash they stink really bad.

Ya scrape not cut. I was just thinking wouldnt a plastic spatula like you use for flipping eggs work to scrape stuff off glass? Or one of those windsheild/ice scrapers?

May be safer to use plastic gizmos, that way no danger of cutting your fingers.

DON'T throw them away!!!!!!!! 8O I NEED some, no one around here sells them!!
