Newbie here,need help on this

Hi,i'm a newbie which start a reef tank almost half year,currently i found out that there's a lot of small tiny creatures which look like shrimp is moving inside my tank, and it's near the sand and liverock,will this type of creature harm the reef??

ps.i'm from Malaysia, and my english is not that good, sorry if i wrote any mistake here, thanks

The tiny "shrimp" you're seeing are most likely harmless amphipods.

If they just scoot around on the rocks & sand then I'd guess Amphipods. If they run around fast in a crazy pattern then I'd guess Mysid Shrimp. Both are good detrivores/fish food.
