converting to saltwater

Currently I have a 50 gallon glass tank used as a freshwater tank.

The question that I have, other then changing to coral and other saltwater equipement would I also need to go with a diferent tank?

NO. Just be sure to clean thoroughly, and as you probably know, not with household cleansers. Vinegar diluted with water is best, a "sniff" test will help you decide if you removed all vinegar after.


One disclamer- some FW medications are disasterous for SW. They get in the silicone seals and leach back into the water.

Thanks, in fact when I went with this tank I was looking for an acrylic tank because I like a one piece tanks. But they are hard to come by in this area and are way to expensive...
