I am looking to use either 2 of the tunze stream 6000 or the 6100's in a 144 gal 1/2 round. Ihave some xenia and I don't want too much water pressure on them. Aprrerciate and thoughts.

I'd get the 6100's and dial them back if needed. You can crank them down to 30% capacity.

Better to much flow that not enough when it comes to buying powerheads.

how big of a tank is it?

If it isnt too large id opt for the one with the velocity control in it. I had one .. works great.. i think its the 6200. THat way you dont have to spring for a controler

I'm getting 2 6200's for my 150 gal. Not planning on lots of flow from my return. You can always turn them down. Flip side is if the 6100's are not enough you can add one or two later as money permitts.

Man I did not read this morning. From the ones you have listed I would get the 6100's and the controler.

I had my guy chnage the order this morning to the 6100. I am too deep in to this new setup to stop. The only thing is his supplier is out of stock this week. I hate waiting but that is the way it goes.

Have you checked with some one else.

Yep. I found them at another vendor. Some guys are telling me that the 6100's would be too strong for xenia's but if you can cut the duty cycle which I don't know what the low end limit is.
