Ich

Hey guys I am brand new to this forum and i love it already! :lol: My question is this. I have multiple nano tanks set up. In my 12 gallon the fish came down with ich so i took all the inverts and rock out to save them and in an excuse to setup a new tank , do i need to change the substrate out of the infected tank before i replenish the inverts and rock? i was going to, to be on the safe side but i figured i'd ask you guys first. thanks in advance for any help.

First of all, :welcome:
How are you treating for the ich? If you are treating via hyposalinity, No. If you are treating with chemicals of some sort and ever plan to add corals, not a bad idea.

i am treating with formalin, well i should say treated. the formalin wiped it out in 2 days. so i am going to take all the sand out and put new live sand in then.
