Fission Nano skimmer

Hi,
I also purchased the Fission Nano skimmer, I have a 30 Gal FOWL tank that I am considering adding some Mushrooms zoas. Anyway I don't think the Nano skimmer is sufficient for my tank, but the Local fish store said it should be fine. I ahve only had it running for 3 ddays tho'. Seems to create a lot of Micro bubbles is that normal ( i am fairly new to saltwter tanks and Nano especially.

I have heard that skimmer sucks all around. But I have never seen it in action, so I am just basing this on what I have heard from friends and the LFS who sells them but says they suck. Look around and see what other people are saying about that skimmer.

anks for the reply Paul,
I looked in the skimmer cup this evening and there is some sediment in it (not much) but i am not familiar with skimmers. Thee seems to be quite a cyclone in the input chamber. The store had one setup in a NanoCube 24 and it seemed to be functioning ok the cup was bubling like crazy and full of crap.
I will wait and see anyway.

I had one. I now use only the pump for flow in my 10 gallon. Very difficult to adjust. Go with something bigger and you will get better results.

Yes I ran the nano for 4 days and nothing so I bought a Lees Skimmer yesterday and a new air pump and am running that now. The skimmmer I waned nobody here in Surrey BC sells them and the webstie doesn't accept canadian orders.
It is a outside hang on skimmer.
