On Sat morning i noticed water on the tiles by my tank, that is NOT a good sign as it could only have come from the tank... tasted it and it was salt water... pulled my system apart for hours trying to find the source- realised that coz it tasted salty it wasnt my RODI topoff system( Which has popped on me before) That made matters worse, it could only be a leak in the sump or tank....... After some frantic checking, and carefully cleaning up all the existing water, I saw where it was coming from by the appearance of a new puddle..... The cord on my tunze magnets was lying on the floor with the magnets stuck on the sump face glass.... the @#&%* cord was acting as a wick and taking out about 1/4 gallon every hour- and the cord is only about 1mm thick!
