just got a used AquaC Remora skimmer its less than a year old and is alllready pulling junk out (been on the tank 2 hours) (47 gal), but how do you get rid of the micro bubbles. Do i have to buy this pre-skimmer or is there anything else i can do?

Thanks

Hi and :welcome:

Like most new skimmers, the Remoras tend to generate microbubbles when new/clean but once they get properly slimed-up (technical term  ) this effect generally diminishes.

I would give it a few weeks. If you continue to have problems the surface skimmer/bubble trap attachment that's available for that skimmer does help IME.
