my new six line wrasse looks as if it has some type of parasite hanging on it....i just noticed it today....its white a and very small...almost looks like a piece of skin hanging off of the side of him...i would post pics but hes to freaking fast and camera shy..sry..

if anybody has any ideas as to what it would be that would be cool...thx

Ive never personally seen a flatworm on a fish. Is it just a scale that has gotten rubbed the wrong way? Unless it spreads I wouldn't call the doc just yet.

give it some time. in the meantime you should try and I.D. it. compare pics and such with some online references .

is the fish eating? dry soaking the food in garlic and other fortifiers. (kent zoe and zoecon and selcon) feed a couple of times if it is eating.

take a pic and post it.... we are here to help

every so often when we would go fishing out in the ocean we would pull in a fish with a flatworm attached.. at least that's what all the fisherman called them.. looked like a little piece of skin just hanging there..
So that's why I thought maybe it was the same sort of parasite.
