I recently added a very cool looking BLue line flasher wrasse (1 3/4") to my 40 gallon tank. The only other resident is a bigger Diamond Goby (3 1/2"). Anyone else had a problem with aggressive diamond gobies? Will this pass? Maybe I should add another fish quickly to help break up the action? I was planning on getting a true percula, but am making an attempt to only add items every 3 weeks. Seems to give things a chance to settle.

Yes, although I'm planning on moving some things around and buying some more live rock to change things up a bit. I know wrasses are a bit on the shy side as it is. Although I've never seen a goby just flat out stay right next to a new fish.

I've kept both diamond sleeper and golden head sleeper on separate occasion. I do find diamond tend to be much more aggressive in defending its territories than the golden head sleeper. I wouldn't be surprised if this behaviour persist another week.

The flasher wrasse 1 3/4" is now king of the tank. Just took a few days to get used to it I guess. Cruises around and actually comes right up to my hand when I have it in the tank. Not afraid at all. Diamond goby has been sulking a bit but seems otherwise content about his burrow.
