Question on new 5.5 nano

I have just finished building a false wall with fuge i my 5.5 gal tank. Can i fill the tank with salt water and put in live sand while i wait a week or 2 for the rest of the stuff to come in.

**All i have is the pump for water circulation, no light, no heater, no skimmer yet.

Sure, the only issue IME would be temp as you have no heater/lights, if it gets too cold you could waste the live sand (adversly effect the bacteria). But if that isn't a problem, I'd go for it.
