Hope they are ok? I will close in the stand to make it nice and quiet and paint the sides the same colour as the walls should look good, also i took a sample of water to the LFS and there is amonia in the water , i added half of my live rock two days ago and also put in half of a bottle of a product called { cycle } that helps to mature a tank faster, it treats 1,780 ltrs. Anyway ill keep you posted on how it goes.

looking good, HOWEVER, may I suggest that you reinforce the legs on your stand somehow? Those legs look AWEFULLY thin for a tank that size. You may consider cutting at least a plywood back, front and or sides to attach to them to keep them from swaying.

Just my 2 cents.

Looks nice though.

Have patience and skim. Your levels will come down. Water changes will also help dramatically.

Yes the tank stand is metal. I had it made by a friend of mine who is a professional welder. It looks small in the photo but he told me it could handle three times the weight! That was my main concern, the strength! There is no movement at all in the frame and it is bolted to the floor as well. Trust me it is" STRONG" Anyway ill post more pics as i go along ,thanks for the feedback all,

It may just be the perspective of the photos, but that skimmer also looks pretty small for a system of that size, I personally would also have used all that spare under-tank space for a far bigger sump seeing as its going to be enclosed.

Thanks for the feedback mate, i think your right about the sump it may be a bit small so ill get another made twice the size and put it on the other end under the tank, get it running for a few weeks and then sell the smaller of the two , i have put some live rock into the tank as well , ill post some pics on monday , thanks again for the feedback,
