Is it necessary to have the tank light on during the actual part of the day? Are marine animals naturally hard coded knowing what's actually day and night? Is it okay to have my fishes "daylight" during the actual evening hours?
I ask this because I don't get home until 5:30pm from work and I want to enjoy viewing my tank during the time I am home. Plus, I feel safe knowing what's going on with my MH lighting. Thanks

Mine comes on at 3:30 and stays on untill 10:45pm
