125..is the tank. one anemone is my purple LTA, there is another multicolored one..i haven't seen it yet, and i hear it has green tips. that's about it (someone is breaking down a tank and getting rid of everything in a hurry). if i put this new anemone in the 125, will i have issues? do i need to keep them seperated? i suppose i could build a rock wall that seperates the 2 sides of the tank enough to be impassable for an anemone.
remarks?
questions?
concerns?
kudos?
anyone?
:)

In a 125 there shouldn't be (and I said SHOULDN'T be  )any problems with keeping 2, they should sort out who lives where in short order. The wall idea is a bad one IMO due to flow and appearance issues.

:) prolly true but I dislike any structure that interferes with good water flow and would have to see what he means ;)

I have to ask what is the deal with having more than one anemone in a tank? I have 8 I do believe and they are in a 90 gallon. Hey by the way for the people that have read my previous posts my algae problem has bit the dust that **** went on the red hair algae highway to someother buttheads tank. hehehehehe!

are they all the same species? same species shouldn't be an issue, but i wasn't sure about different species.

No Sir, They are: 2 green bubble tip, 2 green leather, 2 Rose LT, and 2 white with purple tip LT. I have not seen any problems When I put them in they have pretty much stayed in one place (lucky).

Hey Mr X. I just like the way that they sway I had a few given to me. I would like to get into the stonies but I need more experience and better lighting and bigger tank and a better established house (where I will not be moving again for a long time). OK maybe not green leather anemone but that is what I was told by the person that I got it from. He is just a jackass that is a pond specalist and has a little bit of really good aquarium products cheaper than the rest. It just looked like an anemone to me and I figured well if it looks like one it must be one. Well enough jabbering here it is. hopefully you can see it.

It's carpet anemone. It can grow as big as your tank, just one single specimen. After well established, nothing would escape its super sticky tentacles, except the clowns.

Yup. Hope you don't have sand-dwelling fish (or, if you do, you have a moonlight installed). :)
