So I'm getting tired of coming home from work everyday and having the pump for my AQC skimmer running dry. I don't need to dose anything all I need to do is automate adding evaporated water. Any suggestions?
I saw that autotopoff.com site. Has anyone ever used their product?
BTW I don't use a sump and don't want to hang a plastic jug above my tank either.

I have a double float switch from ATO.com and love it. I also have a single float switch (not from ATO) for my 30. On the 30, the float switch is located in my surface skimming box. I have a maxijet 1200 sitting in a 2 gallon rubbermaid under the tank, a 1/4" line runs up to the tank from there. Dont put it into the water or you will have a back siphon. I have to fill it daily but it keeps levels constant. I only use a 2 gallon RO container so I wont have a very big flood if the single switch gets stuck on.. I would recommend the double switch if you have the room.
