I am skimming through the night!!!! i hooked the skimmer into a 5 gallon bucket so i can skim and sleep (it drains fine), and I have water sitting out overnight to replenish and then I am going to work, I'll still be skimming all day too!!!! and the mechanical filter will be puttin in its time as well. I will walk in to full cleanliness when i get home tomorrow hopefully. And a functioning refugium. Also i took your advice and decided to pull out those rocks and clean them. what a difference!!! it looks alot nicer, no more red! i also got rid of that green slime algea with a tooth brush,
the only thing with that is when i cleaned it off (green slime), 20 minutes later there was little air bubles where it used to be, i am going to reclean tomorrow and then friday i am doing a vaccume jobby and then It is all going to settle down and I am going to do the fun part, sit, watch, and enjoy (that is the fun part)

Lori! the skimmer is working great, i had the pump line too long and it affected the bubbles, I had a different type skimmer and wasn't used to this one, now i know!
