Just wanted to share some tank pics. I started cycling this 40 gallon tank in October of '06 and I think my corals are starting to grow a good rate. I hope to add more corals (particularly SPS corals) in the up and coming months. Moreover, I hope to get a nicer BTA for my clowns. :)

The sump is multi-chambered where live rock and chaeto are located for additional filtration. I'm running a Aqua-C Ramora (hang-on-back) protein skimmer, and two MJ 1200's; one of which is the return pump from the sump.

The tank is illuminated by 2x150W DE Phoenix MH lights, and a 25-watt power compact (over the chaeto chamber) runs opposite the MH's.

Here you will see my Acan Lord; 3 heads are starting to multiply out of it. You can kind of see one on the far left under the current prominent head.

Also can some one help me identify this green LPS coral. Any ideas??? 8O

Yes, the clowns are husband and wife  The couple is getting along well and the juvenile is starting to grow and "maroon" up a lot more. It took about 2 days for the female to put this guy in his place. I hope I can get a small-medium sized anem for them, the tiny bleached one I have now sucks  I guess it will suffice for now.

Don't know why, but it makes me think of a Turbinaria.
