Sorry to say, but everytime I do a search, I cant find anything relevant to my question. So if anyone would like to advice please do. Or even give me advice on that darn search button.

I need to know what type of sand is best for a fuge IE. sugar or larger? Also what depth would be best. Tomorrow is my official project day, I have been putting this off to long. The fuge tiself is ready, but tomorrow I will finish the project.

Thanks X. The fuge is quite involved. I was hoping I could get away with normal lighting, but looks like I may need some type of upgraded lights on it. Thanks again

i have a 24" compact flourescent on it. it's no big deal. seems to be working fine, but before that i had a regular home depot round reflector with an energy saver "equivelant to 100watt" bulb on it, and i think they did just as good. don't sweat the light.
now i was also told that if i leave the lights on 24/7, my caulerpa will never go sexual.....hmm

That is what I was thinking/hoping I could use. I will stick to the original plan.
Thanks for the info X

hey same topic kinda, I have a just a regular flourescent light, not sure what the watts are or anything, it was off an old freshwater tank an my lightsource for my fuge.

is this ok? things have been going for a week strong now and thinkgs look ok so far. also i have done some reading and they say to cycle the lighting of the fuge opposite of the tank lights, just wondering if this is neccessary and do people do this, i can easily enough if i knew exactly why I was doing it. i think it has something to do with PH but not sure.

lawdog, you know this one? thanks shavo
