I have just put the deposit down today for my sump in my lfs, it will take 3 weeks, i would like to know if it would be possible to have both my heaters in the the sump? It is a 330l tank, would i need to have one in the tank as well or will it be fine in the sump? Thanks.

I keep one in my overflow and the other in my refugium. I believe alot of reefers DO keep them both in the sump as this is one of the bonuses of having one.

It is just that the main body of water will have no heat source apart for the return flow. I thought that this may have a cooling afect upon the water? I would like to keep them both in my sump for ease of access. Thanks mate.
