Doode, it was closed for over a month and has not been right for going on 2 months... Help me Rhonda. Has anyone ever heard of them being so cranky for so long?
IMO two months is getting kinda extreme. Maybe try someone elses tank for a while (if its possible) and see if that helps Otherwise, keep trying different locations in your own tank. Heavier flow, lighter, higher lighting, lower.... Some day they will either get happy or die. 8O
Sorry to be so blunt with the last sentence. You (we) know its inevitable with some corals in our tanks. I struggled with my GSP for a while until they were truely happy to.
It's okay. I have not moved him yet. I keep thinking he looks a bit better each day. Perhaps I am just hopefull. I will move him soon if he is not 100% back to normal.
if you look at my pics, you'll see what kind of current my gsp is subjected to. every time shavo comes over he laughs.what's really funny is, chris had 2 green star colonies that looked pretty much the same. he gave me one. i placed mine under pretty tough current. my green stars have seemed to grow alot longer than his. the green tips are very long (over 1 inch). is this the norm? meanwhile, what kind of current is yours under?
btw, the current shouldn't keep them from not opening. chris's gsp opens, even with less current. :?
