Salt info

Was planning on setting up a new tank and want to try my best at maintaining it was wanting everyones opinion on what brand of salt is the best to use when setting up the tank...

My opinion is there is nothing wrong with Instant Ocean. The Georgia Aquarium uses it, and so do I. I have used it for about 1 year now and have not noticed any ill effects.

I've been using Red Sea Salt for about 15 months now. My critters all seem happy enough

I used IO for years, but am moving to reef crystals because the levels of trace elements are closer to what I want.
