flower pot

hey reefs dot org peeps. OK well i made a purchase of a flower pot with the salesman telling me that they don't last long in captivity. (about 6 months) I thought the piece looked really cool so i bought it anyhow.

my question is are flower pots really that hard to keep? anything speacial i need to know? do they really have that short of a lifespan?

hey I was informed before i purchased but i somewhat didn't believe him. I wish i never bought it now but I will keep you posted and I will attempt to keep this thing alive as long as possible. Is there any issues when this thing does die? contaminating my tank or anything like that?

I have always avoided them so I can't say for sure, but I wouldn't expect any serious toxicity if it dies.
