hey folks! we are putting together a 30 gallon oceanic cube, and was just browsing the supplied "nano tank livestock" threads, trying to figure out what fish we should get for it.
my question is, besides the mentioned fish, is there anything anyone could recommend adding to the list for a 30 gallon tank?
we will probably be adding a DSB, and a generous amount of live rock.

we also plant to add some soft corals and light it accordingly.

thanks in advance.

P.S. - we want to have a cleaner shrimp as well, so...no shrimp eaters!

A skimmer.

I would recommend drilling it for the mere fact that I hate my 30G because it is cluttered with equipment.

I really like the four line wrasse we had in our 30. He was a little agressive for our purple firefish so I stuck it in the 120 where things are a little more agressive. It fits right in. The four line did however get along real well with a royal gramma.

Also, your not so much of a "NEW REEFKEEPER" any more. Questions like this will get more responses in the GRD. IMO This forum is more for nitrate/SG type questions. YKWIM You know what I mean?

if you could produce enough pods I'd get a psycadelic goby or a mandarin goby. nanos make ongoers look even closer. When these little guys are paused then move a little - it creates a nice surprise - we'll for me anyway  they're cool to observe becuase they are primarily on the rocks. Good luck!

my significant other likes the sound of my overflow on the 125 8O
she wishes the same bubbling/slurping/gurgling noises  on her tank.

as for the mandarin- yes, they are awesome. we have a spotted one in the 125. i'm not going to attempt to keep one fed in a 30 though.

first thing you mispelled a word in your first thread, just want to let you know since you are always so critical of me.

I like the six line wrasses I am defenitely going to get some when i get some money. my scooter blenny eats blood worms if you like him he is cool abd isn't so dependant upon copepods. and a royal gramma would be cool too.

you will figure it out i am sure, PS everybody else watching this post I know mr. X can not hold out for long. this wil be the first "nanno tank" with a 100 gallon fuge!!!! lol
