hi, im not sure. but would i need a calcium reactor or kalkreactor even if im not keeping coral of any kind? i know coral need the calcium to grow, but donsnt the algae on live rock benefit from it too? if so which would be best for me?

No, you wouldn't need a calcium reactor or a kalkreactor if you aren't keeping any corals. The occasional water change will keep up with what little calcium the coraline algae on the rocks require.
