Help made idiot mistake...

So I just realized when I Started my tank on that very first day....I filled tank with fresh water added the live sand and then added the salt.

Am I right to guess this is no longer "Live" sand becuase of this?

Should I add more to the tank that is actually living ?

I am an expert on that.... wait... :lol:

Seriously, it probably ruined your live sand. If you did it in the order you described, most of the water near the bottom of the sand is still fresh water. This may prevent sand critter from going there later. So you may want to stir it a bit.

It's been stirred by the powerheads/crabs but I will do so more...

Will the sand turn live on it's own from my live rock?

Definitely! But gettins a scoop or two from a local reefer won't hurt.
