how much lbs of live sand to get a 2-3 inch bed

How many lbs of sand does someone need to achieve 2inch or 3 inch sand bed (65 gal, 36x18x24)
and which is better to use Caribsea Aragamax Sugar Sand (0.2 - 1.2mm diameter grain size ) or Caribsea Arag-Alive Fiji Pink Substrate(diameter unknown), i was leaning towards sugar sand because it was cheaper but i'm puzzled on this. Thanks

no clue on differences between the sands, but for the amount you need there are some calculators around, here's one of them:

I used that calculator when planning my tank, but I had to guess what it would be for aragonite/arag-alive. I ended up going about 60lbs over (for 120gal + sump), but it is better to have too much than too little though!
