Live rock problems please help!!

some of my live rock is starting to get some black spots on it and most of my live rock it turning green and i dont no why or how to fix this problem i have about 65lbs of it in my 75gallon tank with about 350 watts of light... any help would be greatly appreciated

this is the members' tanks forum. you should post this in "new reefkeepers".
the green is algae, from what i imagine is a brand new tank, going through normal cycles. the black i'm not sure of. i'm betting on just some of the colorful stuff that you purchased it with, dying off. don't be alarmed. if it is infact a new tank, all that stuff that turned black will color back up in due time.

how about more information- how old is the tank, when did you add the rock, what are your water parameters...actually, even a picture would be a big help.

the tank is about 8 months now i added about 35lbs a few days ago and most of the pices have black spots on them... is there anything i can do to help speed up the cycling process

this is uncured rock? do you have livestock in the tank? you better double up on your waterchanges if you have livestock and this is uncured rock.
there is nothing you can do to speed up the cycling process.
check your water parameters. post the results.

What MrX said, testing your water values is critical if the new rock is casing a spike.
