Need new pump...Aquabee failed

Hello everyone!

I recently decided to start up my tank again so my knowledge from previous research has deminished, soI coulduse your help.

I currently have a Predrilled 55 AGAand a 40gal sump that contains my Turboflotor 1000 multi. My Aquabee has failed. I am looking for a replacement pump. I do have a Rio 2500 that is in working order. Will this be sufficent or is there another pump you might recomend? I have read about problems with the Rio 2100 burning out quickly due to lack of resistance this is the cause ofmy concern.

I also have a Coralife Turbo Twist 3x UV sterilizer. Iwill not be running this in-line. Any recomendations on pumps for this unit?

The Rio 2500 is one of the models with a questionable reputation. Personally, I'd avoid using it, but that's JMO...

I assume you're using yours in-sump, so in that case, this might be another option (and a bit better performance):
