so we've had our tank over a month at this point. We have just introduced 10 snails, some nassarius, a couple turbo and a margarita and the tank is doing well. We have some green algea now on the glass, and the rocks are no longer white, they are now looking more like rocks in others tanks.

I tested the water today at home and came up with Ca of 320, phosphate at 0, kh at 17.9, nitrate between 0-10

so are we ready to start adding some fish? maybe 2 clowns?

You have excellent patience. Ammonia and nitrite is the main thing you want to test for when you first start out. Even if you haven't, I doubt that would be a problem after a month. I think your snails would probably let you know if it was.

Go ahead and get your clowns :D

lookin forward to getting some life in the tank!

nitrite is toxic as well. not as bad as ammonia, but i'd be sure that it reads zero. take a sample to the lfs when you go to get your fish and make sure.
