This size/shape tank is really not appropriate for housing a tang in the long term - especially the Hippo.

The horseshoe crab would also not be a good idea. Do a search here and/or some more research on them.

With those off the list, the rest looks OK to me provided the two dwarf angels get along. Normally I wouldn't expect them to, but from your other posts it appears they're already getting along in another tank, so it may work. In the more cramped space of a smaller tank, however, things might not work out there...

Keep in mind, even if the angels get along with each other, there's no guarantee that they'll be safe with corals (now or later).

Chris,

Would you risk it? (the Dwarfs that is)

I cannot find anything about the horseshoe crab could you link me a post?

Thanks for all your comments and input, I dont want to feel like I am being pressured to buy tihs stuff from this guy because he is just wanting my money and will tell me anything to get me to buy it

Both of the angels are dwarfs, everything I have read says that in regards to dwarf angels the size of the tank is fine. I am more worried about the angels fighting given their smaller tank size and new environment (should be noted that the two dwarf angels have lived together for some time and get along fine)...

As far as the Tangs I have heard conflicting advice. I have been told ONE tang would be fine if I bought it as a juvenille and got rid of it after a few years.....

I read somewhere that the horseshoe crab is a bad idea given the size of my tank...

The issue with the dwarf angels is territory, i.e. the size of the tank, right? The exact same is true of the tangs, and if all/both conflict in terms of food sources, then as far as they're concerned at a certain point there's not enough room for all/both of them. If the tangs are small then they'll be ok in that tank for a short time, this is correct. However, expect them to have conflicts with the dwarf angels eventually. Not saying it's a given (nothing is truly a given), but you should expect it. However, why set things up such that you have to mess with it? You might also watch for conflict between the angels and the clownfishes.

Personally, I would get rid of one tang and one angel for a better chance at long term success with all. This way you have an angel and a tang. Then you can add something else that will remain small. Cardinalfishes are a good choice, depending on species.

What species are the clowns? If they're something like tomatoes, Clarkiis, or Maroons you can expect more conflict. How big are they? Are they matched in size?

the clowns are small, matched in size and are percs. I think I will go with th pigmy angel and the yellow tang.

DAMMIT, I really want a blue Hippo Tang :( I live in a small studio and there is not enough space for a bigger tank...
