Mystery Wrasses do get large. I have one that about three inches long now, and have seen them bigger than that. I do NOT recommend putting a Sixline and Mystery together, as I and others have tried and failed. Sixline's are aggressive towards other Wrasse's, and will pick on them until they stress out and die...
I had to remove my Sixline because he was bullying my Mystery...
Of course, every fish has their own personality, but this is just from my own personal experience...
Other fish I'd suggest for a 30 gallon would be:
Pygmy Angelfish
Flame Angelfish
Rusty Angelfish
Royal Gramma
Black Cap Basslet
Sixline Wrasse
Lawnmower Blenny
Firefish
Midas Blenny
Bangii/Pajama Cardinals
Yellow Watchman Goby (and other gobies)
Most of these have already been suggested... you can do a lot with a 30-gallon, so no worries
