I have a coral I bought a few months ago that I think is not doing that well and might even be dead. I had to go out of town and I came back to see that a clam and this coral just didn't look the same. My monitor/controller logs show nothing out of the ordinary during my absence in pH or Temp. I dose kalwasser with in my ATO and those levels seemed normal as well. Salinity was still at 1.023-1.022. I'm thinking this could be due to a lack of trace elements. I dose 2 capfulls of coral-vite once a week and add 10ml of strontium as well. Here is a pic of the coral. I can't remember what species it is....any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Porites or Alveopora. What is your lighting situation? Trace elements are almost never the problem unless you have a really active growing reef. Good lighting, clean water, and water changes are all this coral should need.
