Hello all
I am a newbe here but I use to have a Fish only tank in NC when I was there. I had a few fish and a Madrin Dragonet. I moved to Hawaii and I had to give away my fish and sold the tank I wanting to get bake into the Hobby and start a reef tank. We are staying in hawaii for a very long time but are tring to find a new place for use we have just gotten two big for our Apt. Not to mention I really want a garage. It will not happen for a few months but I was wondering if It would be better to wait it out or start building the tank now. I was wanting to do a 55 to 65 gal tank and was thinking it would take a few months before I was even ready to add live rock and sand. What are some of your thoughts on this. Would it just be better to start after the move or would it just as simple to start now with the basics and then add the reef at a later date. It wouldn't be all that hard to move a few starter fish and I am building the Stand Hood and lighting. Plus I am doing a sump set up with a tank in the bottom of the stand So it may even take a month or two to have it ready for fish. I just miss havng a tank and the enjoyment I got from my 29 Gal SW tank.
