I have two new Wild True Percs which are beautiful. My problem though is that when I try to feed them the flakes get strewn about by the current. Is there any way to feed them so they can actually eat instead of the food immediately disappearing? I dont want the lil fellas to starve!

Mine didn't seem too awful interested in flakes, I tried bloodworms and that worked like a charm. The bloodworms don't seem to go all over the place like the flakes.

turn off your pumps/powerheads and try another food. mysis shrimp, blood worms, brine shrimp, and chopped up fish/mussels/clams/squid/etc.

I agree - shut the pumps while they feed.

Also, IME many small fish (including clowns) really go for some of the very nutritious frozen copepod foods that are now available like Cyclopeeze, etc...

I feed my two that I have recently received mysis shrimp and they were a bit stand offish at first being new to the tank but now after a week or so I dont turn any thing off and they feed like they are going to the chair. I wouldnt IMHO make a practice of turning off the powerheads because I find that the swirling of the shrimp helps feed the other inhabitants of the tank i.e. anenome, watchman goby, shy pajama cardinal. BUT I am rather new to reef keeping (very new) so maybe I am doing it wrong.

No, you're not doing it wrong. The only problem is an excessive amount of food not being found by the inhabitants, getting caught in rockwork, etc., and then just rotting. Underfeeding is the way to handle that in my opinion (plus, a HUNGRY fish is a HEALTHY fish).
